Project Description

Bramberg offers fantastic toboggan (or sledding) opportunities! The toboggan run is an amazing 14 kilometres in length and lit at night. You will conquer a difference in height of 1,300 metres. The ride will take approximately 30 – 50 minutes, depending on how fast you choose to go. Of course you can have a drink or meal in one of the many lovely huts before you start, or on your way down. You will definitely not want to miss out on visiting Zwischnzeit, chosen in 2012 as the best aprés ski place in Austria.

During the day, you will find the toboggan run quiet and calm, which makes it a very attractive and safe activity to undertake with small children. In the afternoon, the toboggan tends to become busier, and it goes without saying that the evening hours are the most popular ones.

Your ordinary ski pass will give you and your toboggan access to the ski lift during the day. At night, you will need a special Toboggan Ticket (Rodelkarte).

Single ticket: adults and teens € 13.00, children € 6.50

Toboggan day ticket: adults and teens € 32.00, children € 16.00

Evening lift rides are included in the day ticket, but not in the ordinary ski pass!

Tobogganing Evenings

On Tuesdays and Fridays, the Smaragdbahn cable car in Bramberg has extended operating times until 6.30 pm. The same goes for the Wildkogelbahn in Neukirchen on Saturdays. The toboggan run is floodlit until 10 pm!

Toboggan rental is available at several sport shops in Bramberg.

A few years ago we made the following short video on tobogganing in Bramberg. In case you have never been tobogganing it is worth watching and seeing what it is like, because in our opinion everyone should experience the fun in going down the mountain on a sled.
